The Microcat bait boat is actually the biggest bait boat among those made by Angling Technics. The bait boat comes with a glossy ABS plastic construction along with a no-maintenance needed motor. The Microcat bait boat also has the ability to turn within its length and features a responsive steering feature. This bait boat is very easy to steer and maneuver and also comes with a reverse thrust.

A great feature of the Microcat bait boat is that it has two hoppers which can be opened and closed separately, so you can release bait at two separate locations you choose. The bait boat has a 600 meter range, and also comes with propellers that is ideal for use on weeds.

The handset of the Microcat bait boat runs on 40 Mhz FM 4 channel radio system which is less prone to interference, so you can be assured that you will not lose communication with your bait boat. The hull is also great for all types of bait, even for bait particles. Whether you are fishing in daytime or during the night, the Microcat bait boat is sure to catch up with you with the six high density LED lights that come in blue, white, red, and green.

At maximum speed, the Microcat bait boat can last up to 45 minutes on standard batteries, and up to 70 minutes on high density batteries. First time bait boat users will surely find the instructional video a big help when it comes to using the Microcat bait boat.

The Verdict

Pros: The Microcat bait boat comes with plenty of great features that every bait boat should have. Bait capacity, ease of use, night lights, and the maintenance free propulsion (including resistance to weeds) is just some of the features that make it a pretty competitive bait boat.

Cons: For the amount that the Microcat bait boat is being sold for, you could get a different bait boat with jet pumps, and not with propellers. This boat does not give you real value for money in comparison with other bait boats.
